On May 23, 2012 a car dealer in Urumqi, Xinjiang  processed a customer's payment for a 29,800 yuan RMB (US$4730 according to current exchange rate) value mini van.  What makes the purchase special is that the customer used 400 stacks of RMB 50 cents (about US$0.08) paper bills to pay for for the car purchase, the staff of the dealer need to count a total of  59,600 fifty cents RMB paper bills.
