As the representative of Qingdao Municipal Government, the Administrative Committee of Qingdao Hi-Tech Industrial Park is responsible for administering the zone, providing excellent and efficient services to investors from home and abroad. There are banks, accounting offices, auditing offices, insurance companies, An Investment Service Center for foreign investment, a Foreign Enterprises Association, etc., which provide investors with perfect services for their investment, operation and management.

The total export value of the Hi-Tech Park is 240 million US dollars. About 30 foreign companies have invested in the park, including many famous international companies, such as Lucent (AT&T) (U.S.A.), Coca Cola (U.S.A.), Hewlett Packard (U.S.A.), Fuso Refining & Processing Co. (Japan), Daewoo Automotive Components (Korea) and Grandlink Group (Singapore). The famous Chinese electrical appliance producer -- Haier has set up the biggest production base -- Haier Industrial Park -- here. Today, there are 638 enterprises with foreign investment and joint venture enterprises in the Hi-Tech Park with a total investment of 2.4 billion U.S. dollars, 62 of which are of investment over 10 million U.S. dollars. To date, the total GDP of the Hi-Tech Park is 8.6 billion yuan (about 1.04 billion US dollars). According to the latest statistics, Qingdao Hi-Tech Industrial Park has ranked the third among total 52 high/new technology zones of its kind in China. The revenue generated by the Shilaoren resort is the highest among that of all domestic national tourism and resort areas.

Qingdao Hi-tech Industrial Zone has successfully organized the Tsingtao (Qingdao) Beer Festival and many other activities.
