The groom is very happy and is hugging the bride.
According the Dong tradition, there is a trial period as a probation for the marriage, during the trial period, if bride can not get pregnant, the groom has the right to "return" the bride to her home. But things are not so bad, during the trial period, if another man likes the bride and the bride agrees, the late-comer can compete with the groom. The new-comer needs to prepare a gift which is double the value the groom gave to the bride's family. If he does so, he will win the competition. Half of the gift is given back to the groom, and half give to bride's family. So the groom needs to be very carefully to treat his bride very well in order to avoid any potential competition.
