Ann Tse-Kai
(1912- ) Mr. Ann, of Han Nationality, born June 1912 in Dinghai, Zhejiang Province, with no party affiliation, professor. Went to Hong Kong in 1938 and settled there in 1949, engaged in textile industry in Hong Kong in 1950s, served as member of Legislative Council and Executive Council of Hong Kong, chairman of Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Federation of Hong Kong Industries in 1970s. Also served as vice-chairman of Committee for Drafting Basic Law of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), chairman of Consultative Committee on Hong Kong Basic Law, Hong Kong Affairs Advisor, member of Standing Committees of Six and Seventh CPPCC National Committees and vice chairman of CPPCC Eighth National Committee. Vice-chairman of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
