Zou Jiahua (1926- ) Zou Jiahua, born in Shanghai in October 1926; joined Communist Party of China June 1945; served in New Fourth Army from 1944 to 1946; college graduate in machine-making. Zou used to serve as minister in charge of State Machine-Building Industry Commission, state councillor and concurrently minister of Machinery and Electronics Industry, minister in charge of State Planning Commission, and Vice-Premier of State Council, Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee. Zou was also Alternate member of 11th CPC Central Committee, member of 12th through 14th CPC Central Committees, and member of Political Bureau of 14th CPC Central Committee.
