Zhao Ziyang, former secretary-general of
Chinese Communist Party, male, ethnic Han, native of
Huaxian County of
Henan Province, born in October 1919.
Joined the Communist Youth League in March 1932, and joined
the
Communist Party of China (CPC)
in February 1938.
Zhao is a leading reformer and former
secretary-general of the
Communist Party of China in
1980's, and was toppled in 1989 after trying to use
peace way to solve Tian'anmen crisis in summer of 1989. |
